We tailor our services to meet your needs, drawing on our unique expertise and comprehensive offerings.

  • We build a meaningful strategy focused on the outcomes that matter the most to your disabled employees, and your business.

  • We collaborate with you to attract and retain disabled talent.

  • We create a safe space for employees to learn about disability, including knowing what to say, what not to say, and becoming an active ally.

Let’s work together to change the narrative on disability and ensure your organisation is equitable and inclusive for disabled employees.

Our Mission

Our mission is to remove workplace barriers and drive systemic change for 50,000 employees with disabilities globally by 2027

Breaking down barriers:

Let’s make your workplace accessible

No company intentionally creates barriers for disabled employees.

However, with 96% of companies yet to prioritise disability in DEI plans, many companies still have unidentified barriers to the full engagement of all employees.

At Purple Consulting, we help you address common workplace barriers, including communication and physical barriers, lack of accommodations, and attitudinal barriers such as stereotypes and stigma associated with disability.

To learn more about workplace barriers, read our blog here.

Don't let these barriers hold back your employees or your business.

Definition of disability

At Purple Consulting, we use the United Nations definition of disability to ensure inclusivity for all.

… those who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which in interaction with various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.”

This definition is all-encompassing, including both visible and invisible disabilities.

It is important to note that this definition recognizes the Social Model of disability, which puts the onus on society to remove barriers, rather than fixing the person.

The Business Case for Disability

The business case for disability has been proven and the case is compelling.

A 2018 Accenture report of 140 US based companies showed disability inclusive 'champion' companies achieve, on average:

  • 28 percent higher revenue
  • Double the net income
  • 30 percent higher economic profit margins

...when compared to other companies in the sample over a four-year period.

At Purple Consulting, we help you leverage the business opportunity disabled talent offers to your business.
