Our mission is to remove workplace barriers and drive systemic change for 50,000 employees with disabilities globally by 2027
No company intentionally creates barriers for disabled employees.
However, with 96% of companies yet to prioritise disability in DEI plans, many companies still have unidentified barriers to the full engagement of all employees.
At Purple Consulting, we help you address common workplace barriers, including communication and physical barriers, lack of accommodations, and attitudinal barriers such as stereotypes and stigma associated with disability.

At Purple Consulting, we use the United Nations definition of disability to ensure inclusivity for all.
“… those who have long-term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory impairments which in interaction with various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.”
This definition is all-encompassing, including both visible and invisible disabilities.
It is important to note that this definition recognizes the Social Model of disability, which
puts the onus on society to remove barriers, rather than fixing the person.
